Founder + Design Partner
A native Houstonian, Mary Uptegraph has always had a natural eye for interiors and a deep love for creative expression. With an artistic foundation that has shaped her perspective from an early age, Mary brings a thoughtful and intuitive approach to every space she designs.
After graduating from Texas A&M University, Mary began her career working under a Houston-based design firm, where she discovered her true calling in interior design. Today, she blends her passion for both interiors and art, creating spaces that feel layered, personal, and timeless.
Mary is especially drawn to textiles, antiques, custom furnishings, and curated vintage pieces—elements that add depth, character, and a sense of story to a home. Her aesthetic is rooted in a love for classic design with a fresh, livable sensibility.
When she’s not working, Mary enjoys spending time with her family in Houston and with her dog, Teddy.
Caroline Torres
Founder + Design Partner
Caroline Torres brings a thoughtful and refined perspective to the design process, pairing creativity with a strong foundation in communication and client experience. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Communications, she has a natural ability to translate ideas into cohesive, well-executed spaces.
Following graduation, Caroline spent three years at a leading Houston interior design firm, where she gained hands-on experience in all phases of the design process—from concept development to installation. It was during this time, and through her close collaboration with Mary, that the vision for their own studio naturally came to life.
Caroline is especially drawn to textiles, bespoke upholstery, layered materials, and architectural details—thoughtful elements that bring depth, balance, and intention to each project. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking long walks with her two dogs, Heidi and Dakota.
